Houston designer Gayla Bentley presents her outstanding collection for “women with curves” and is the featured designer for the 2005 Year of the Woman event at the George H. Bush Presidential Library in College Station Texas. The luncheon featured designs by Gayla Bentley and Carlton Hall and were complimented by purses by Judith Lieber.

Career Day Houston

Since 1999, Jane Carlton Hall has co-chaired an annual fashion industry career day in Houston, an event, which now hosts more than 900 college and high school students from area schools that are interested in pursuing careers in the fashion industry. The The Fashion Group Foundation of Houston, Inc now awards over $10,000 annually in scholarships and is sponsored by many area businesses and organizations such as The Art Institute of Houston, Houston Community College, The Houston Area Fiber Area Fiber Artists and Southwest Sewing Machines.
The Grand Prize winner spends a month in the summer at the Paris American Academy in Paris, France!
