Jane Carlton Hall

In 1991, Jane Carlton Hall launched her first collection of Carlton Hall robes and sleepwear with the belief that robes and sleepwear could be both elegant and comfortable. A niche was developed quickly as novelty fabrics were introduced and customers responded favorably to each new collection. Merging her business degree with a lifetime of sewing and designing clothing, Jane supervises the design direction and development of Carlton Hall in Houston, Texas.

In 1997, the Amanda Rich collection of sleepwear was introduced and named after Amanda and Richard Hall, the designer’s children. Over the last 17 years, over 200 stores all over the world have purchased Carlton Hall and Amanda Rich products.

In 1999, Jane was selected as one of Houston’s top ten Women on the Move by the Houston Chronicle and Texas Executive Women. She has also been honored by the Houston Museum of Fine Art, The Federation of Houston Professional Women, The National Association of Women Business Owners, and Houston Community College. She currently serves as chair of the Advisory Committee for the Fashion and Interior Design program at Houston Community College, and is on the advisory board for the Fashion and Retail Management Program at the Art Institute of Houston.
